Or use Amorgen's character generator . It's free, but it requires Excel.

It is easy to use, but it's not free . It's a measly three bucks and totally worth it.

Already bought it. Thanks guys. Now still wondering if I want to spend the $250. Lol

If you will enjoy the process of sorting through and exploring all of the tokens and then building various builds for a few different character classes, then yeah I would. But don't do it otherwise. You don't need to spend $250 to play the game and enjoy it.

My first two years I simply ordered a few 10-packs in advance so I could enter the dungeon with at least a few good tokens, and then I finalized my builds on-site with the additional 10-pack you receive in the dungeon. But then my third year I spent the $250 and well let's just say that it didn't end there :)

If you already think you are going to spend $100+ then I'd say go ahead and spend $250 if you have the money. Worst case you sell or trade away that UR to people here on the forums if you decide you don't want it.

But just to re-iterate. You don't need to walk in with any tokens to enjoy it and have fun. But if you enjoy preparing then you'll enjoy buying some in advance. Of course buying these tokens will increase the chances that you'll survive the dungeon, but you could also spend no money and run at non-lethal mode instead.

PS - for the veterans. Does non-lethal mode have to be agreed to by all players in order to run at that level? I can't remember.

Thanks, yeah I already had $100 worth of 10 packs in my cart. Seems worth it to go up to the $250. If I do I just need to decide I what ur I want

I am pretty sure I read that if you want to change from normal, that everyone in the party needs to agree.

Bookkeeping point - take the packs out of your cart. To minimize hassle and drama, if you're going for the $250, buy the bundle.

TD doesn't usually combine orders of less that $250 towards the various awards.

If you already paid, you MIGHT be able to talk them into an accommodation since its your first year, but it's better if you avoid that route.

Besides, it's only May. You have six-ish weeks to order and still get your goodies before GenCon.

I did not buy anything yet, and already took the 10 sets out of my cart. I don't know anything about awards, what are these?

I said "award," but I should have said "bonus."

They're described in the packages. E.g. $250 gets you a UR, $1k gets you the four URs plus a Tooth, $2k gets you the 8 URs and two Teeth plus an Adventurers Guild badge and token, etc

Speaking as a CC:
Choosing to run on anything other than Normal challenge mode must be a unanimous decision.

If you're still deciding on which Ultra-Rare to choose, the Amulet of Treasure Finding isn't a bad option. Particularly if you plan to run on Normal for while with a rare build. The Amulet will get you 4 extra treasures every time you play, many time these will be rares which may be useful for you. Treasure pulls are also the only way to get Monster parts which are used in transmutes or can be traded away.

That is one I am thinking about, I just was thinking maybe to get something that would help my party more so then just myself for now. Idk lol

Also how long after you place an order do you usually get it?

1. On normal, a "wasted" neck slot isn't that big a deal. It's more important to have a token in every slot than to have an uber-token anywhere. When you move to Hardcore or Nightmare it's more of an issue.

2. Less than a week. They normally ship Priority within 24 hrs.

I would 2nd the amulet for your first UR. I got 1 last year for our first token order and a 2nd for my girlfriend this year. The 30 packs should get you more than enough to build a couple decent characters and fill in with other great rares(Ogre strength, defender set, focus items, ect.) and the difference between having a single Ultra-Rare vs a rare in a given spot is probably not going change the outcome or your experience in a meaningful way unless you are a bard getting Widseth's. The amulet will at least always net you 4 extra treasure per dungeon which will help facilitate getting future transmutes and stuff to trade for better items.
