At this point it probably doesn't matter a lot exactly what minute it closes. You'll get a bunch of bids in the last few minutes to ensure there isn't time for it to be posted and outbid before close.

It matters to some of us - my last second bids will be hours before close, and easy to overbid. :)

So bid your max and if it is out bid then it doesn't matter when it is out bid because it is over your max.

Yes, I'm obviously aware of that. It is nice to have the option to place your final bid at the end, as it makes it less likely you will get outbid, but I'll adjust to not having that option, if I'm not up that late.

I just had a thought. Amazing right!!!!

I can just imagine McDroggin getting about a hundred pm's with a minute left for one item and having to sort those out for an hour after it's done. LOL
