Anyone know if Ducks of Doom were considered 1% items? I seriously doubt it since I pulled 12, but I would just like conformation.

If they were then it's clearly not 1% anymore. The duck rate alone was probably 2-3% on its own.

I'm betting the ducks were just counted as rares. At least that's how I treated them.

Also, potion of distilled healing is much less desirable with the greater alchemist pouch. 10 +1 healing potions are actually worth 20hp, while the distilled healing is only worth 11. Maybe it's a necessary boost in the middle of combat, but generally it's not a fair trade. I hope they consider this with the condensed packs. I'd rather have the 1 pt healing potions unless they throw in an extra distilled healing.

Eh. Distilled Healing Potions get recycled, so they will obviously have a higher quantity.

In fact, I explicitly set aside consumable Transmutables used during Grind, from this year and the prior, so that I can directly give it to Dave and he can reuse it for transmutation.

henwy wrote: I think my group ended up with around 15% for monster bits. About the only thing we pulled for 1%'s were 2-3 potions of distilled healing and nothing else interesting came out of the box. WE had far less treasure pulls to work with this year since I ended up only doing 2 runs plus a grind and everyone else missed at least one too. It was a hectic sort of convention all around.

Well that's what you get for prioritizing Nascrag over TD! :P

Fourth was a fleece which was nice.

3 out of your 4 "other" draws being Potion of Distilled Healing?

I actually wanted to do the dungeon. So did Richard. Melissa wanted to do Nascrag. You can see how the voting worked out there. At first I floated the idea that I would run TD and they could do nascrag but they didn't want to run it without me and so I sort of got stuck. It's the first year I haven't seen all the TD dungeons in years and years. Probably all the way back to 2005 or so.

Yeah I had 25 so I hope they were not the 1% either.

It's one thing when one spouse is whipped. It's an entirely different thing when friends (outside of the marriage) become whipped as well! :P

Wait! Does that mean you and Richard didn't get full XP? There are plenty of people dying to climb the XP ladders, preferably over your bodies!

But... was it worth it?

I mean, NASCRAG Champions? How often does that happen?

I think you might just owe Melissa a beer.

At the time I figured the chances of us even getting into the top half of the teams were about on par with a fart surviving in a tornado. Even after the run went pretty well my loftiest goal was simply to get 4th or 5th place. It never even entered my mind that winning was even possible.

I did pretty good on my draws. Out of 21 draws for 3 runs. I got a 1000+gp of gold, two of each monster part except carrion crawler, got 3 of those. And some random minor stuff.
