I have my doubts it will see much use. I got one as a random pull, but I'm not likely to give up my defender set bonus. And even on nightmare AC is not where most people concentrate their builds.

It should be noted that some teams have a strong preference for Nightmare.

Having said that, with full synergy tokens and frequent help from loaned tokens, most of our groups have not had difficulty with the entire party reaching room 7 alive, even on Nightmare.

As long as I reach room 7, its all good.
