You will need a second case once you pre-order a boat-load of 2009 tokens!

LOL ... yeah ... I suppose I probably should've just ordered a second case ... but they are SO HEAVY ... I doubt I'll be able to travel with all of my treasure tokens soon :( I can only imagine the new nightmares I'm going to have ...

Also, you need some place to put all three of your Celestial URs! =D

Hurray! I can't wait to get them ... as far as the Celestial URs go, I already have plans for them - I'm going to get one of the box frames so that I can frame my best tokens in it along with my "I Survived" badges ...

Who would have thought that True Dungeon would lead to weight training?

Helene, can you share photos/project details of your box framing? I have no idea where to buy such things but the idea sounds really appealing and I would like to hear about how you would do it.
Legally... its questionable. Morally... its disgusting. Personally... I *like* it.

Hi, first time poster here. I've been sorting some of my tokens, and I've found that Ziploc snack-size bags are great for holding about 25 tokens. I've using them to sort out the items I'm going to exchange for trade items.

YUP! Ziplocs are how I pack them up to send to Dave - fer sur!

I've also started using the big bags for keeping some items sorted in bulk. I think they are gallon size, and hold like 400 tokens!

And then those big 50 gallon trash cans to hold all the gallon-size bags

Admittedly, I have been reading some of the posts here, but I'm a long way from being up to speed on everything True Dungeon. So, do I understand correctly that we can send in tokens throughout the year to get trade items, and we don't have to wait for True Realm or Gen Con? If this is the case, what is the procedure and to whom/what address do we send them? I've got a bunch I'd like to trade in, and (as was stated in a different post) it would save a lot of weight in my luggage. Thanks.

Well first, yes, you can through the year send stuff to dave. If he has the tokens to fulfill you order he will send them back as soon as possible. If not, you will have to be patient. And he does post cut-off dates for GenCon so you know if you mail it after a certain date he will get to it some time after GenCon.

To do this you first need to wait for dave (dbradical) to post an updated order form in this forum category. It spells out how and where to send things. Now be aware that while he has a good supply of most tokens, there are a few he ran out of due to their ease of obtainment - Dwarven steel for sure are out of stock until the new token order comes in (some time around March), and I believe Minotaur hide also ran out (not so sure on that one though).

So far dave has been amazingly patient and good to the many of us who send him him many pounds of tokens, but heed this, he does not like messy orders or weak boxes. So first, double check your count when you bag them. Then bag them in ziplocks with labels (sticky notes are good) inside to say what the bag is for. Put them in strong boxes with taped corners (because the sound of tokens spilling on the floor that awakens sleeping children will not make him very happy). Then fill out the form, make sure you write legibly(sp?), and that you sign it. Mail it to him. And then show patience as more often than not, your order and several others are coming to him at the same time, and he does check each order by hand.

Then some time later you will get a package from him and inside will be all your goodies.
