Again, thinking as I have been going through tokens to transmute. How could we create the most exasperating character?

I figured start with a bard or wizard equipping the following:

Ring of Sanctuary
Hat of Escape

And use a Scroll - Blur

Each one gives the monster a 50% chance to miss. This would take up a lot of combat time.

What else can we add?

Charm of Brooching is obviously a necessity, to stack annoying cloaks.

What does "exasperating" mean in this context? Hard to hurt, or annoying to DM against?

Maybe add a bunch of DR tokens as well? So if it gets through all the clouds it still won't as much damage?

Though I do like Ed's idea the best with a slight edit. Greedy Naked Non-Lethal.

I was thinking the most time-consuming for a DM to face in combat.

Most exasperating?

My vote goes to that Bard with the Vuvuzela.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

I use many of the tokens listed and can be truly annoying to take down because of them. Some require being quick on your feet with clever usage of the right damage reduction token at the right time using free actions when you can, advanced knowledge is the win.

I like:
Scroll Vanish
Scroll Blink
Scroll Stoneskin
Scroll of False Image
Scroll of Mirror Image
Scroll Sanctuary
Scroll of Mind blank
Salve of Stoneskin
Cloak of Shadowskin

If you know whats coming:
Potion Fire Resistance
Potion Frost Resistance
Potion Frosty Lava Bock
Potion Fiery Ice Lager

Then if they do get you:
Supreme Ring of Elemental Command
Questor’s Charm of Luck
Potion of Death's Door
Druegar’s Death Die
Pick 2 from below you think apply:
Figurine of Power: Owl
Figurine of Power: Pixie
Figurine of Power: Cat
Figurine of Power: Tortoise
Figurine of Power: Dragon

Clearly you need some thing to facilitate all this crazy i suggest:
Stu’s +3 Handy Stein
Lenses of Sage Speed
Pouch of Tulz
Shirt of the Fae
Belt of Retrieval
Pants of Retrieval

Other fun things to have that star the insanity:
Hat of Escape
Ring of Sanctuary
Sweet a combat room, we won't take damage!
