TOPIC: Best Ways to Hold Tokens

Re: Best Ways to Hold Tokens 9 years 10 months ago #13

Binia's token sashes are awesome. I love mine and I can't wait to wear it.

I do have some of Molda's wallets and they are lovely too, but since I don't wear a belt, they are not as easy to manage for me. I have my red suede one that I have used for ages, that will be retired. For the others I use them mostly for tokens that I lend to friends.

For those semi waiting till the last minute most dealers are out or low stock on the HE harris coin wallet and varients. JP's corner coin shop does have a bunch in stock and does discounts for 10+ (helpful for those of us outfitting a party).

Just for fun what is the width of a TD Token anyways? I see folks mention 41mm dansco pages for their binders, however, on the JPs site I only see 40.6mm pages.

Honestly I don't know, I use the cheap vinyl coin wallets used for silver dollars or anything that will hold the 2in carboard holders work well. I like the smaller wallets as the tokens slide in from the side versus top so spills are a lot less likely.

Jeff long ago stated tokens are:
39 mm diameter
3.5 mm thick
11.5 grams/0.4025 ounce
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
Please post TDb corrections in this thread .

We use the Dansco 41mm pages. You want to be able to reasonably get them out, and the 40 mm makes them a bit too snug. Whether it is 40 or 41 the pages still hold nine tokens each.

For some reason I'm not seeing any "41 mm" options on those links. Any idea which model number it is?

Thanks for the reminder.
