TOPIC: forums messed up?

Is it just me or is he forums acting up for everyone? not all the boarders are comming up. and it bounces between saying no new posts/new posts to the picture that highlighted dark blue/light blue  and the top quick link tool bar doesnt have the dark blue under the white text....i dunno i am having a hard time explaining but all in all the forum kinda looked messed up

You're not the only one. I too have had issues with everything loading. <br />

When ever there are bandwidth issues (not just us) images are the last things to load.  Since most of the borders, icons, avatars, etc. are images they seem to be the ones that appear screwed up when viewing.  I went in and deleted a bunch of attached images from much older posts, to see if that would help some, but in the end, if there is a lot of traffic on our site and potentially traffic through the gateway you are receiving the information through, there will be issues with loading all the image peices of the forum.<br /><br />It may not just be our site either, it is also possibly the sum bandwidth of the host may be challenged (e.g. on another site) thus slowing things on all served applications.<br /><br />Dave

That has helped Dave.<br />After you said that I tried to go through old posts to delete attachments(which you beat me all to), and also tried to make sure I change what few pics I do post were turned to links.

Thanks, Dave.  I haven't noticed a recent problem, other than the slowness (which was helped by my clearing out my cache).<br />
