i'd be up to play any one in cities and knights (Stadte und Ritter for us hard core Spieler!), and  I won't even use aqueducts and beat you 13-8 (or worse).

I won an Axis and Allies tourney at Orc Con one year - we took the Axis and gave 12 I think...took all of three turns IF memory serves.

It depends on the game.  If there is a game with a prize that you can sell, and then buy back at a later time for a lot less, then I do (if I want the prize).  The thing with a lot of the prizes is that they are worth a lot of money at first, and then crash in value.  So I say sell them, buy them back, and make some coin.  <br /><br />I often enter a game tournament for a game I never played before hoping for a prize, and sometimes I get one.  <br />
