TOPIC: Halo 3

From your local gaming guy.. this just in.<br /><br />Halo is.. has always been.. and will always be the same game. This is like playing Halo 2 with new maps and a couple of new weapons. The hype is not true. If you like Halo then feel free to buy it and go in peace, but if this were Knights of the Old Republic 3 and it were the same game, people would have a cow. Anyway that is my take on the game. Thoughts?

After seeing the demos, I've been a bit baffled by the hype myself. The graphics look no better than 2 despite claims that it "pushes the limits of the 360."<br /><br />If those are the limits of that machine I think my choice is made to get a PS3 (whenever it comes out with games worth playing that is).<br /><br />Still, Halo 3 doesn't look bad and it has some spiffy new features such as the map modding and multiplayer is apparently been beefed up significantly. I've also heard that the story is great and the musical score impressive, though I cannot confirm or deny this.<br /><br />Perhaps my favorite addition is that 4 players can battle co-op in  single player mode.<br /><br />Overall from what I've heard and seen of the game, it's probably not worth the hype it's getting, but still likely a fun and worthy successor to the Halo story.

I've never liked Halo very much in the first place (probably because I suck at it... LOL).  So the hype doesn't mean a darn thing to me.<br /><br />Now Beautiful Katamari though... that's the one I'm waiting for.  Hope it's good.

What is Beautiful Katamari?  Also, if anyone here finds out when Dream Chronicles will be released for purchase in stores please let me know.<br /><br />Kim

<br /><br />Did you ever play Katamari Damaci on PS2?  <br />You get to roll around this big ball that EVERYTHING sticks to.  You start with little things like paperclips and ladybugs, then work up to books, and plants, and people, and desks, and cars, and houses, and mountains, and islands, and planets... (in We <3 Katamari).  It's fun.<br />Between that and Dead Rising, that's why I finally bought an Xbox 360.

No, I've never gotten to play that.  I've never owned a playstation.  I actually prefer some games for the pc.<br /><br />Kim

KOTOR was one of the better RPG's I ever played for Xbox. I have pretty much played everything , its what I do.

<br /><br /><br />Agreed.  KOTOR was awesome.  When is KOTOR 3 coming out?  Other titles for the xbox, Fable and Enclave are also good.  Enclave though is seriously hard.<br /><br />What others out there are good?  I did not like Morrowind at all.  Just got Arx Fatalis and well... its like Morrowind.
