<br />Thanks guys, I am very sensitive about my eyes and really do not care to strike a deal for the lowest bid. <br /><br />You are correct in that I have a lot of research to do, when I first started thinking about it the cost was closer to 4-5K, while I know it has come down quite a bit, I am not expecting to get in and out for a few hundred dollars.<br /><br />Dave<br /><br />

<br /><br />FYI, I found out I can't have it done - my corneas are too thin.  If they had shaved off enough to correct my vision, my eyes would have flexed like a soap bubble all the time, keeping me from focusing.  Makes me glad I didn't go to Discount Don's Laser n' Bait Shop.  I could have gotten a refund in minnows, I bet, not that I could have seen them.  <br /><br />binia
