It is also much harder to prove delivery overseas.  The buyer claim the item never arrived and you dont have a tracking number to prove them wrong.<br /><br />

Yup... what they said.<br />I've been pretty lucky in that I've only had one international shipment go "missing".    Since I sell a lot of trading cards and stuff like that, I find that when I open the bidding up to overseas as well, I get a lot more interest, and better bids.

<br />Why the heck do a half dozen people have it on their watch list? Maybe it's just a backup option or something but it seems peculiar to me.<br />

Another reason not to sell to internationals:<br /><br />The USPS postage calculator LIES. Frakking thing said a 1 pound package to france would be around $10. When I get there, my 11 ounce whozit clocked in at over $15. Ended up paying more than I charged for shipping.

Well that sucks...least I now know why I follow the herd and onlt accept domestic bidders. Do you think the same issues could occur with Canada?<br /><br />They're international but...I mean...not really.  =D<br />

<br /><br />Unless you are sending a package as a business.  For me to send an order to Canada, I have pay a $40.00 custom's broker fee.  So I am not selling alot of $10.00 trains to Canada.
