TOPIC: Who is your fave Transformer?

<br /><br />When I was young, I think Grimlock was my fav. Even then though, Soundwave was the best toy with the cassette player that also transformed.<br /><br />From the new movie, I like how they redid Soundwave...and he was amusing to boot.  =) So, I would have to say he was my favorite movie transformer.

Optimus Prime is the best transformer.  Period.  No further discussion needed.<br /><br />

Everyone is all about Optimus but I don't get it personally. He's such a completely 1 dimensional goody-two-shoes. The same reason I don't like Paladins is why I don't care for Prime.<br /><br />I need more complexity in the hero.<br /><br />During the The 80's cartoons of my youth, I was happy with the simple black and white, good vs evil nature of Transformers, and Prime in particular who epitomized this, but in retrospect he's kind of a corny, 1 dimensional cliche.<br /><br />Am I about to be beaten to death by Prime fans?

actually in the movie the boombox transformer was frenzy, not soundwave. soundwave will be in the sequel.
