John, remember that Thursday the exhibit hall does not open to general attendees until 11am because of Trade Day activities.<br />I don't know how, if at all, that impacts your schedule but thought I would mention it.

<br /><br />Thank you, DD.  I don't know a thing about Gen Con.  Never heard of Trade Day.  Don't like the sensorship on the Gen Con forums, so I don't frequent there.  Haven't checked the GC web site since I bought tickets.<br /><br />I figured since the GC tour was from 8-9 on Thursday, that the exhbit hall would be open that early on a Thursday.  Perhaps the "tour" is just showing you where all the game rooms are.<br /><br />I suppose I'll need to educate myself about GC more than I thought.  <br /><br />Thank you for the reminder to do so.<br /><br />JKW<br /><br />

<br />If you're talking about the tour being run by the Gamer Wenches, it will primarily show where things are located in the convention center (Dealer Hall, Ticket Booths, etc), as well as some of the connecting hotels. They will also be answering general questions about the con. So it will point out the dealer hall and hours, but won't go inside.
