TOPIC: The ongoing saga...

The job saga continues. I go to the final interview and was told this is the last thing. After this I'm hired if I make it through.<br /><br />I get the call...I'm in! I'll be working at Hemlock Semiconductor working a reactor making and harvesting raw silicon for computer chips, solar panels, etc.<br /><br />Once I pass a physical.  So there is another hoop I have to jump through and another delay before I can give notice at the bad job and move to the good job....<br /><br />So, I'm WAY excited that by April next year I'll be making more than double what I am now, but it's lessened a bit because, well cripes, I feel like a labrat running maze after maze after maze and only getting little bits of cheese.<br /><br />AH well...a physical and background check will be way easy to pass.

*HUGS* You'll make it sweetie. They'd be silly not to snatch you up for their company. *hugs*

August 9th I get to spend in a medical office. I was told that if I pass this and the background check I'm done, I'm in and I can turn in my notice to Wally World.<br /><br />I so cannot wait.<br />

Buddha is not a god I thought.  He is a prophet.<br /><br />Not only did he have a happy figure, but he had Dumbo ears to boot, and if you rub any part of his body (people like to rub his belly and ears) you get lucky.

Rub the wrong part and you might get The Spiderman.

It goes on...<br /><br />A week and a half ago, I was told that all is good and they sent the background check off.<br />Now I'm just waiting for that to come back. The lady in HR promised me no more hoop jumping, interviews, poking and prodding...just a background check. <br /><br />I know they can sometimes take a bit of time, and since she's only in the office a few days a week and also working to hire many dozens of employees, it might take a bit longer than average to get the word.<br /><br />Gods, I'm going nuts...<br />
