I agree, except that people (most of them) only know what they hear from political ads and some actually think politicians work for them. If there has been a truthful political ad since daisy, I have not seen them. As for politicians working for the people, that is an interesting question.

True, very true. Unfortunately it seems we have more idiots voting than we have people that actually have a clue.

You can have 400 reasonable people go to the voting booths. The problem is we have 10,000 idiots that vote for the promise of free stuff or for the promise of draconian religious laws those 400 votes don't matter much.
You can't fix stupid but you can TPK it.
