Volunteer and Participation

Looks good, I like the new Death Knight Shirt. Charm of the Champion seems a bit too strong, in its current form it's twice as good as the 2018, 2019, and 2022 UR volunteer charms and immediately obsoletes them unless players want to use both at the same time. Could it perhaps be changed to +1 to each of STR, DEX, and CON?

I really like the changes to these, and the functionality for newer players.

Defender Greaves: Went from "worst rare greaves" to "best rare greaves by wide margin." Consider toning down to either +2 to AC (only), or +1 to saves (only).
* Should these be class limited to classes that can wear the other Defender set pieces?

White Bifrost Charm: Token text doesn't need the word "all." It can just say: "+1 damage to Melee attacks"

Just had a random thought, do we have room to put a "volunteer here url" on the vol tokens like we do for multi-year transmute etc?

I like these changes overall.

I think think Vols will have issues selling Death Knight's shirt. Only really due to the Arcanum Shirt. It may be better as a retribution item to get the hedgehogs interested. But that all being said, its a perfectly fine and balanced token.

White Bifrost Charm: Doesn't need "all" in its description. It is inconsistent with most other tokens wording in TD. "+1 damage to melee attacks" should be what it says.

Charm of the Champion
Doubles the effect of prior vol charms. Please consider either:

+1 str / +1 dex / +1 con (so it isn't strictly better than prior charms)

or

Make it a base +2 and then create a transmute that gives +2 / +2 at relic. A bonus of having a transmute is the value shouldn't drop so steeply from Jan to Dec

I appreciate the change, but I'm not sure this creates an alternative to Arcanum Shirt, which means it might not be as popular as desired.

If it were
+2 Con and +4 retribution
or
+4 retribution and Immunity to undead touch attacks

It would give people who love retribution and alternative play styles a reason to pick it up.

Charm of the Hero / Charm of the Champion: as-is, it's strictly better (but can stack with) three previous volunteer Charms. What if we replaced this with a Charm that read "+2 to Focus or +2 to Constitution (choose at start)"? It'd be a functional reprint of the Greater Garnet Charm , with the choice of being a slightly less damaging untyped Charm of Summer or Charm of Winter for Polymorphers and dedicated Spellcasters (while also boosting healing done). We already have some precedent with the Ioun Stone of Champion’s Choice being a functional reprint of a choice of one of two previous volunteer tokens.

Why on earth would we want a volunteer UR to create a popular alternative to a multi-year Arcanum transmute?

I think the implication.is to change the volunteer UR to a slot that would have more options, so as to allow volunteers to sell their tokens.
