If it ever comes to 100% digital, I wonder if there is some way we could bypass the process by handing out wrist bands and then getting people to sign wavers after being wrist banded but prior to entry.

I was thinking the same, hand out wristbands when the badge is scanned, and maybe handle waivers another way, like a hand stamp. Then the player can distribute wristbands however they want.

But still, what if someone has multiple runs across multiple days, when the badge is scanned will it only "check in" runs happening within X minutes? Or everything that person bought for the weekend? So the implementation matters a lot for TD, and we haven't heard details from Gen Con yet.
