i imagine the seller and buyer are both happy. Once we know what they do, maybe the both won’t be. :)

Unless its more treasure. Treasure is certainly fun. :P

This is more along the lines of my plan. I plan to use mine and then depending upon the level of fun and price I'll either sell my extras or continue to use them while that is an option. Once they have no more in game use, I suspect most collectors will have what they need by then and the price will dramatically drop.

I worry that the prices on my website ($299.95) is what you are basing this question on. I'm not sure what they are worth, but what I do know is that I don't expect to sell any at that $299.95 price. Like all of my prices, that is what I'd be willing to sell the token at, which in this case is probably much higher than its actual value.

I do this for two reasons. First, I like to have every token possible listed on my website. If I don't really want to sell it, then I set a fairly high price. If somebody really wants to buy it, they have that option.

Secondly, much of my store is automated through my accounting system. Because I bought and/or traded for those Charms of Transmorph, they have to be added to my inventory in order to keep accounting consistent. Because of the automation, they automatically show up in my online store. Therefore I need to set a price.

I wouldn't pay $300 for one. However, my standing offer of $30/ea is still out there. And there are a few that I am especially short on, so I'd be willing to go to $35/ea on those. If you have some to sell or trade, please let me know.

They seem to be roughly analogous to the Eldritch Runestone and/or ?Special, with the limitations of being loot-only and you must turn in a set of ten per run. The latter makes them much harder to use, but not impossible.

There is no indication they have an expiration date, even if they do stop showing up in loot. Maybe they’ll be reprinted every year. Maybe not.

Not sure how any of that affects perceived value.

I do hope extra loot is not one of the optional powers.

My guess (just a guess) is that it will be one of the choices but very minor +1 treasure. If it was at that level I would not worry the extra treasure as it would only be replacing itself (as it something else was drawn in its place originally). And considering you need a set of 10 unique ones and there will be LOTS that will never be made into set for a variety of reasons, makes me not worried about it (again using the model of only a +1 anything more well :( ).

If you want the really cool options--including a big treasure bonus--be sure to ask your coach for the secret menu.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

And here I thought the secret menu was limited to Steak and Shake

Of course. Furthermore, coaches will have exclusive access to the super-secret menu!

D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir
