I think you might see a shift in the people that attend GenCon vs other cons like GHS or Origins. When GenCon was the only place to play the events (to get xp or just to play them) everyone had to come to GenCon. With all these new cons having it, there will be some that find it easier to go to the other cons and play there where things are not so hard to get into. See Origins tickets for TD, is the 50s % wise sold. So you'll see people that can't get in or make GenCon go to these other cons.

I will say if I could I'd make it to all and have fun playing them over and over but that's just me and the wife's brand of crazy... we are cutting back on runs this year... 10 runs 1 grind...

I doubt we will stop coming to GenCon, and the announcements came too late to change our plans. We stopped going to Origins several years ago, even though it's closer and cheaper, because GenCon is clearly way better, and has TD.

But we might start going to Origins again, and get most of our runs in there. We will certainly stop stressing about getting all our runs in at GenCon if we know TD will be making a habit of doing Origins.

I think it might help for volunteers. Or maybe help get new volunteers since they will now be able to option in a XP where best suited.
