TOPIC: Any DMs want to run a D&D "one shot" on Sat. 4/22?

I think between now and April we see how the interest is, and if we do it we say it starts around 7pm or shortly thereafter, meaning instead of doing the Trivia Contest, a group of people could do a D&D table...or 2...or who knows how many!

I got trivia tickets as a backup, but D&D Saturday night sounds awesome to me and my pal Deron!

This sounds awesome. And so does Picc's idea of a 1st edition module. I will make sure my Saturday runs end by 7pm.

Sweet - we'll keep collecting people's names on this thread between now and then to figure out system, DM, players, etc.!

There is a Small and I mean small chance I will run a 1-shot game.

If I do it, It will be 4th ed DnD. While I've DM'd all the previous editions I find 4th the quickest to run and set up and the easiest to learn especially on the fly for a pickup game.

The concept would be "Mark's Birthday Bash".
Yes it will be my birthday and the bash will represent the heavy combat nature of the event.
I'm thinking I'll do a true-grind style game where the players do their best to be the last man standing in an epic combat.

Or maybe, we'll do a drinking DnD game I've run in the past. Heavy RP with your dice being beer pong cups. Skill required and 21+ a must.

These ideas sound like a blast! I'm interested as a player.
