Hi all!

Are there any Dungeon Masters who would like to run a D&D "one shot" on Saturday, 4/22 at the True Dungeon Celebration?

Either the morning or afternoon might be best, since the Geek/TD Team Trivia Contest is Saturday at 7:00pm.

From the schedule, it looks like there will be plenty of time to game with friends, and playing D&D with fellow True Dungeon pals sounds like lots of fun to me!

Sounds good to me! So it sounds like we have three players (me, my buddy Deron, and you), unless you're saying you can DM!?!

Well, it's not totally certain we're going yet. If we do, and the schedules line up, we might have some interested parties ready to dive into a Dungeon. :)

I'm definitely up for this. Count me in as a player.

If I am not on a run, I will DM. It will be an adlib adventure not for the feint of heart. Blood and guts will abound. Heck, it might even be a shut up and the roll the dice that is rollplaying adventure. Either first edition AD&D or we can do OD&D (brown box version from 1974).

LOL...yikes!

Thanks Edwin. I've only played 5e (I only started playing D&D a hair over a year ago), but a blood thirsty DM is better than no DM!

We've got one volunteer to DM so far and 3 (maybe 4) players. So between now and April, let's see what kind of fun and joy we can drum up and maybe we can even have a few tables running!!!

Bark is worst than the bite.

Fresh bait for the master of the dungeon and his evil henchfolks. Possibly a blood sacrifice if the party can not save you in time.

Old school, rules lite, dungeon crawl. Open the door and see what on the other side. Continue until we run out of time.

Theater of the mind where you describe what you are doing instead of rolling skill checks for everything.

If you want to spike a door, then you describe it. If you want to come up with a creative way to cross a pit you have to describe it. If it is reasonsable then you succeed. If it is wonky then odds you fail, even you success on a d6.

When I was young mom introduced me to the old school Red Box, and from there AD&D followed. So definitely down for this.
