TOPIC: Travel Arrangements

So I am driving down from Madison, WI thursday before the event and I will be stopping by the St Louis airport to pick up groovyedwin around 5 pm. We are staying in Marion a little farther from the site but easier to drive and free breakfast. I will then be dropping him off at the airport on sunday around noon. If anyone needs help getting back and forth from the airport to the playing site I have room for about 2 more people in my car. If you need a pickup on the way down and back up I can make some arrangements for that as well. Just wanted to put this out there for people who were balking at the $55 shuttle prices to and from the airport to the hotel.

if your flight is delayed Kakitahan is coming in around 8 that night from California and he is getting a rental as well.

My plan is to drop everyone off at the airport around 11:45-noon on sunday. Kakitahan flight is super early and he is getting to the airport for 8 am that morning. As of right we we are only considering this our emergency backup if peoples flight go wrong.

Wait - dropping by the St. Louis airport? As in, St Louis, MO? Lambert airport?

'Cuz my flight is landing there 5:14pm Thurs, and I was gonna rent a car to drive to Carbondale.
My flight back home leaves a little after 2pm, so I'd need to be back in StLouis for noon, Sunday, too.

I would definitely be interested in car-pooling with other fine TD folks. As long as if the car is smoke-free. (allergies, yo. Car pooling is awesome, but hospital visits in foreign countries are less so.)

I would be happy to contribute to gas, and/or buy dinner for anyone awesome enough to make this kind of ride share work.
