TOPIC: Barbarian Turkey Leg Run

Loaded my wishlist with 7 consecutive DAS combat runs scheduled for Saturday evening 7:50pm thru 9:26pm. (times update)

Looking to see others who are in.

Tokens: Turkey Leg and +STR / +DAM

Token restriction: weapon must be Turkey Leg

I will load the same slots into my Wishlist.

Will communicate with you guys about which slots we successfully get into our cart(s) and who - if anyone - should drop theirs.

Should we also load a couple Moongate(combat) slots as well, to increase our odds?

Also: I have 10 - 12 Turkey Leg tokens saved for this. I am willing to lend : )

Also also: My intent is to pick up a pack of those inflatable Turkey Legs as props for the run.
but I'll wait on that until we know for sure we've got a slot to do the run!



EDIT: I lied. I'm actually loading DAS(combat) 7:50pm - 8:38pm start times into my cart.

Since my Vol. shift ends at 7:30pm, I don't want to be the one who everyone is waiting for, in order to get their tix... But if someone else gets the 7:26pm slot into their cart, I can always show up in the Coaching room 12 minutes late without inconveniencing many people.

Maybe. Don't have a turkey leg though.

Also haven't built a strength bard build of late. Been focused on dex.

I suspect this won't be a particularly challenging run. As in: We're not gonna need +hit/dam in the +10 range. (Though wouldn't that be fun?) .. I'm guessing this will end up being a Hardcore run. And if we have a competent Bard *cough* all he really has to do is play his Drumsticks... I mean, Drum... or Lute... and we'll have +2 to hit, +4 damage from that alone.

Honestly, now that I'm thinking about it... maybe it'd be best for one or two on the team to have some half-decent Dex, so we've got a decent chance in case of a forced ranged combat.

I'm imagining our party of Barbarians entering a clearing, and the Roc flies into the air....we make grunting noises and stand around scratching our heads.

"How fight big birdie?"
"BIRDI! Come back!"
*shakes fist into the air*
"Wonk - You got dis?"

The Wizard casts Lightning.

The rest of the party stands around going "oooh, ahhh" "Pretty lights."
"Hit Birdie again Wonk!"
"Yeah. Rest of party will drink ale. You tell us when Birdie is done."


I mean, we gotta make the Wizards earn their keep somehow, right?
But maybe a ranged fighter or two isn't a bad idea.

Would make for a good story. Hawk Fingle and the Turkey Barbarians of Onk.

I need to carry a journal or something to keep notes this time.

Turkey Leg is also a missile weapon!

I will bring the Greysdale Mead.

And some rope to tie to a Turkey Leg so we can bait the Birdie. When it comes down to smell the Turkey Leg, we all jump it.
