Four flexible players looking for tickets

We're token heavy and NM/HC ready

We've got ten synergy to share as well as CoGF if we can accommodate the new rules

There are other people with openings, out there, so look around, but here is a link to the DDA openings.

DDA Openings

There are a few others in the thread but not sure if there are 4 spots left in any other but the two puzzles.

Found the post from JACKOFTRADES which is listing all the groups with openings:

People looking for others to fill spots.
You don't have to outrun the monster, just the guy next to you - The buddy system.

Cranston's Character Generator for iDevices or Character Generator for Android

Amorgen's Excellent Excel Character Generator

Have you checked the Token DataBase ?

All those runs are Nightmare difficulty. The OP sounds like they can handle that, I just want to be very clear in case someone else may be looking.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?
Please post TDb corrections in this thread .
If I write something in teal, it should not be taken seriously

That Is actually the usual meet up for folks who have tickets, trying to meet up with the other ticket holders, to coordinate and plan ahead for the run...

A thread of open tickets would be great if there are many out there.
Seems the number of tickets was dramatically cut This year, to coincide with the increase in demand, to make for another horrible situation, not unlike the housing fiasco.

Things were tight this year but not due to changing the # of runs. It has been posted and known that same amount of runs as last year. Just no Sunday runs which has bothered people and made plans difficult for scheduling around volunteer schedules. See how it shakes out and hope that some people defect over to Origins and GHC for their story runs.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven

For the last 4 years I have coached full time. So Sunday was never available for me.

The switch to earlier and later run times has actually increased the number of runs open to me. I realize the population of full time coaches is a small one. But at least for some of us, this has been a helpful thing.

I think the ticket crunch this year is a product of the growth in popularity of TD, the 50th anniversary of GenCon and the overall growth in GenCon attendance over the years.

Edit: As Ed points out below, the collaboration with Rothfuss is also a factor.
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

Sorry you are having problems getting tickets. Actually the number of tickets offered for the TD adventures this year is exactly the same as last year. I suspect the collaboration with Patrick has increased the demand.

Good news is that TD is at Origins this year and there are plenty of tickets available there.

Yep and don't forget Gamehole Con ! A great small but growing con to play TD at. Overall tickets available at all cons are way up vs last year.
Classes Played: Barbarian (65 times), Monk (56), Ranger (33), Rogue (25), Cleric (21), Fighter (13), Druid (12), Paladin (11), Dwarf Fighter (10), Bard (7), Elf Wizard (2), Wizard (2)

Yup, already going to origins to try it out, (like we did who's yer con) but of course it's just last years story and I hevent seen anything about its permanence.

I don't think it (or any con) can be an alternative to gencon, unfortunately -- My understanding is that TDs deal with Gencon prohibits it from having actual alternate TD events at cons that would directly compete, even if gencon can't, as here, fill the demand. I *really* hope I'm mistaken about that; We've already lost our 'old timer' for this year and I'm seriously considering skipping gencon at this point.
