TOPIC: The Chandrian

The Chandrian 7 years 1 month ago #1

Any speculation as to whether or not we will see or fight the Chandrian from "The Name of the Wind"? Going to need those cold iron weapons handy!

D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

I'd suspect that if we don't see it in the main dungeon, that Eric might have one in Grind.

...

I should probably stop giving Eric ideas.

Glad i get the reference now about the Chandrian (finally and just finished Name of the Wind. More annoyed that my local county has only 1 copy of book 2 that i'm waiting on.
We're all the kind of people who enjoy the game on a "meta" level. We like talking about the game year-round. We buy tokens. We enjoy crafting. We get together during the off-season if we can. We are a very skewed demographic that way. -Raven
