Not exactly true. WYC & Gen Con 2016 was after the close date in 2015....and so on. It is the first time we have had an event in the same year after the close date. I still am guessing (and I will wager you one Pant of Retrieval) that the 2015 UR's are not part of the GHC 2016 mix.

Not exactly true again. Before there was WYC there was this thing called TR and that was the very first time there was an event after token close.

That would be sweet if 2015 UR Tokens make their way into the Treasure Boxes. While this is after the fact I have to say I was very pleased with my last 9/27 purchase as I found a bonus UR in my $250 lot. I really want the Sapphire Ioun Stone but other than that I got every 2015 I that wanted.

Question (and probably the wrong forum to ask this) do you lose your neck slot for the AoTRF? At Gencon the DM let players not lose the slot so I am a but confused here. I have the AoTF and Charm and assume they both take the slots.

Can someone confirm this for me?

Amulet of Treasure Finding, does take the neck slot (most amulets and medallions due). Always check www.tokendb.com if you are unsure.

Charms always take the Charm slot.

Yes, it was the coach, apologies for the confusion but I get the anger especially if you have the CoA, I would be pissed too. At Gencon, I did not have either of those Treasure enhancing items as I acquired both since. I was a little confused when it was dismissed as I assumed you had to slot them so I have been curious ever since and wanted confirmation on this. As I prep for GHC I want to be sure what I am equipping and confirm the rules.

Amulet of Treasure Finding is most definitely a neck slot item. If a coach allowed you to equip Amulet of Treasure Finding and something else in your neck slot, please PM me with as many details as you can give me. (In case you didn't know, I'm one of the coach coordinators. I need to know about this.)

Honestly, I do not remember what the guy's name was. I did 5 runs at GC but it happened, and I did not mishear it as it stuck out to me but 2 months ago I was not as rules savvy as I am now (still have a lot to learn) so I would have spoke up . I do not suspect it was meant in a malicious way, as it was discussed so frantically and hectically as many players came late and there was a real rush to get everyone situated to get on the run. It seemed like uncertainty on his part (and mine) and players may have convinced him.

Just to be sure, is there some possibility that the token in question was actually the Medallion of Nobility?

That one is slotless though it has the appearance of a neck slot item.

As to time, if you could remember at least the day and specific dungeon type, that would narrow the field considerably. Some indication of time would help, even as general as morning, afternoon or evening.

Best way to ensure your build is good is to use the character generator app or the spreadsheet.
