TOPIC: Volunteer Quizzes Available

Lori posted threads for the on-line quizzes. There are separate threads for:
Coaches
DMs
General Volunteers (not coach or DM)
If you are a volunteer and can't access at least one of those threads (they're in an area of this forum not visible to the general population), please contact the volunteer coordinator ASAP. Click the Contact link at the very top of this page if you don't know the email address.

This is new. The past few years we all received an email to take the various tests.

Just received the email. But it's not from Stu like it usually is.

Stu is AFK at the moment.

I am still pending... what is the ETA?

Still pending on my Stu email too (but signed up for the quizzes with the above information anyway). Did get a Lori email with a schedule confirmation tonight though.

Got my final schedule confirmation.

Signed up for classes but have not confirmation or access yet.

Yes she did, it was the same schedule as before, may have had small changes.

Everyone that registered has been approved and now has access to the quizzes. In the past, Stu did send out the e-mails. He was nice enough to register you and set up a password. I'm not as nice as Stu!!! I figured it was easier for you to get in there and register than it was for me to be e-mailing passwords and such to hundreds of people.

Make sure you're taking the quizzes for the role you're volunteering for at Gen Con. If you're a Combat DM, make sure you do the Combat DM quizzes first and get your 90% or higher so that you're a "Certified Combat DM". If you want to do quizzes for roles you're not scheduled for, that's fine, but make sure you get the ones done for what you're scheduled as.

And yes, I did send out schedules again tonight. Well, the auto-schedule e-mailer thingy mabobber did it. I just got it ready and clicked in a few spots and it started running. Anyway...yes, schedules were sent out again tonight. I'm trying to contact the volunteers in as many ways as possible to make sure you are all checking that all your "things" are taken care of before we get to Indy. Some issues are easier to fix now than on-site.

I will be checking the class registrations twice daily and approving access for any volunteer that has registered. I have to do it manually...it's not an automatic thing, but I will check it (at least) twice a day to make sure I'm getting people approved.

Any chance of this year or past year quizzed being posted for the general public so potential volunteers can see what's involved?

There are some questions that are similar to last year, so probably no..

Oh and.... do not use the players handbook as the changes are not yet completely changed there... oops.

My wife is able to make GenCon this year so I don't have to worry about having my "thing" checked before leaving. Although, in a roomful of Yetis, she probably won't have the luxury of checking it at GenCon.
