Pro: Another chance to use the tokens I've spent way too much money on.

Con: Same adventure as WYC and the puzzles were so iconic and memorable I remembered the solution to each the first time around there.

Pro: I guess I could finally try volunteering since there wouldn't be much other reason to go.

Con: The con is named GameHole and it's in Wisconsin of all places.

Pro: Hell, I've got nothing better to do with my time.

Con: It'd probably be at least somewhat costly in the hotel if nothing else and it looks like the main hotel is already sold out. Hard to justify the cost.

Pro: I've been hearing about this squeaky cheese curds thing for over a decade now.

I dunno....

Sure why not. You know you'll have fun, and if you already know the adventure you can vol if you want. Besides which you can always flip the vol token to cover part of the hotel cost. Which are likely to be cheap if you stay at a non attached hotel.

All in all I say go for it, you only live once.

Really it's the cost that's stopping me. I'd probably need to work out some sort of room share in order to justify it. Even WYC isn't exactly cheap after all the flight and hotel costs and at least there I have a history. It might be different in the land of the cheeseheads.

You could volunteer and get a free badge and hotel spot! I have need of a lava-fiend NPC....

When will volunteer details be out for GHC?

(Its only 35 miles from my front door :) )

I figure I'd only end up going if I was accepted as a volunteer. I mean, I'm not sure what else I'd end up doing there. Maybe something interesting would show up in their event lists whenever it's released.

When is volunteer status likely to be decided either thumbs up or thumbs down? I'd probably have to sort out the travel and room share after that panned out.

Well thats definetly to far to travel. I mean come on you'd almost need some kind of horseless carriage or something :P

The con itself (if you venture from TD) is a blast, as lots of the legends of gaming (former TSR HQ) come and some DM their own games (I got Killed by Jim Ward and played Top secret with the creator!!!!!)

If you do not understand the last part of the sentence you are really young :P

Could someone tell me what a "Web site URL" is. Is it a special form of scroll?

Probably right after Gen Con. I want to wait to try to snag as many Madison local volunteers as possible who went to Gen Con.
