TOPIC: Advance Scouting Reports from Deeperdark & Behold

Been there, done that. Could be a new one, though.

We were given a sneak peak at a new prop that was large and round.....makes me think a beholder will be in one of the dungeons

it is a Gazebo. We got tokens at WYC to deal with it. I have extra if you need any for your adventure.

Or it could be a Death Tyrant (undead Beholder) being controlled by a high priestess (drow) of Lolth?

Maybe a mated pair of beholders. Afterall, one beholder is VERY beatable. Or, maybe six or seven spores that burst if struck for area effect poison damage, surrounding the look-alike ancient beholder that has ten eye stalks that each fire disintegration rays with a DC: 30.

Or maybe one beholder per player? Or eye stalks that shot fireballs (4/8/16 hp, save 1/2)? Or charm (Will save, DC: 30) players to attack each other? Opps, the Barbarian got charmed, the party is going to die! Now that sounds like a worthy challenge!

AC: 20/25/30
Saves: +05/+10/+15
Bite: 2/6/18
