TOPIC: What to do about GREAT DMs?

Re: What to do about GREAT DMs? 8 years 8 months ago #13

I loved the quacking Sacrifice. One of my favorite groups to come through that run.

Steve is a great judge, very friendly, we always love seeing him and he remembers our group. Always very descriptive, friendly to new players. My only regret about Steve is we don't get to run with him.

Let me just say as a DM (Sable puzzle 7 thurs, fri, sat night, and sun) the players are the best part of what we do. you guys can think of some off the wall stuff, and it makes at least my day trying to figure out how to deal with creative thinking. not only that, but being stuck doing the same thing for such a long time can be draining at times, but it is you guys that make every 12 min a new and exciting adventure to us.

I am glad this thread is here. I have done a bit of complaining about a few things that bothered me this year but should really admit that they were exceptions.

All in all I feel that the DM were much better this year then ever before. I have noticed a steady increase in quality. So a big thanks to all the DM and coaches for doing a great job and constantly improving.

Side note: Maybe someone should put together a True Dungeon DM 101? A document and/or video that gives tips and tricks for DM's new and veteran.

Thanks for this thread! All of our DMs deserve our appreciation, and it's great to see that so many also deserved kudos and praise.
