TOPIC: New player looking to buy Tickets and join groups!

Hi,


I just discovered this event for GenCon. I am interested!

I am a fun guy who is 43 years old. I used to own a game store/comicbook store. I get along real easy with others of all ages! and I like to have fun.

I would pref fer to join normal events.

I do not have tokens yet. But once I find a group I have no problem spending money to get packages and tokens. I am also trustworthy and would be happy to loan some tokens if need be.

It might not be 100% up to date, but you might find someone looking for players here.

Also, just keep checking these forums as people are always posting looking to fill slots.

And if all this doesn't work and you have a little flexibility in your GENCON schedule. Show up at TD storyscape with $52 in generics and let them know at the customer service desk that you are looking to play. They keep a waiting list and as they have no shows, they fill from that list. I've never gone that route before, but I have heard of people who spent the whole weekend going on many TD runs just from the waiting list.

As to tokens, unless you line-up a run in advance. I would just show up for your first run (if you use the wait list) and use the free pack as a base. Then if you like it there is plenty of time to get addicted to the tokens!
