TOPIC: Token trading at WYC on Fri morning/afternoon?

This will be my first WYC. Can/should we come up with a general area to find each other for token trading at WYC on Friday before the transmuting opens?

I doubt we can plan. It will depend how the hotel is set up for gaming

Find Smak or laz. We usually are all hanging around where they are. Though the year Hwenry dump a box of random tokens on a table to get sorted on a table had a fair number of us around it 'helping' out.

Yes, could someone please bring/buy a boatload of tokens so we can help sort it?

Maybe a local can bring a baby pool, fill it, and sell 5 minute rolls in it. Especially with the hot tub and pool closed, it could be very popular.

We should make sure to take up a couple tables and just flood them with tokens, binders, etc. As was said, Smak or Laz would be good people to find, also Dennis or Raven at times, though I think she might be running the Grind like last year.

I'll bring a small coin wallet of tradeable tokens, and odds are very good that I'll be hanging out with various TD folks engaged in various token sorting/trading/collecting endeavours when I'm not helping with Grind.

I will not, however, be able to contribute to large quantities of tokens spread on a table.

I fly in from Canada, and like to travel light.
Tokens are heavy.
($130 of overweight charges are not a shock my system can bear on a regular basis.)

I'm going to try and get there between 10 and 11 and might be interested in some trading.

But not really knowing the community hopefully it will be apparent that people are sitting around somewhere shuffling tokens.

I'll be around. I'm hoping it'll be like last year with a general area where lots of TD players congregate to socialize and trade. I plan on purchasing some tokens as soon as I can at WYC. So hopefully I'll be set up somewhere opening up ten-packs and searching for one of those elusive Golden Tickets!

I do hope someone pulls one at this year's WYC!

Raven, you can always leave tokens with me. I have plenty of room to store them. Just put your name on the container so I don't get confused

There will be two guys for sure with poker chip cases
Those two guys will also be in the dungeon helping set up too

Yeah, I don't know what anyone looks like but I'll be there Friday afternoon to trade and transmute.
