TOPIC: WYC - Sat 2:00pm Group

Looking for others in the Sat 2:00pm True Dungeon run at WYC.

I've posted our preferred classes, but obviously open to discussion.

Hi there. Looks like we've got some major over lap on preferred classes.

I've got 5 for this slot.
Jaime - Paladin
Mark - Bard
Alan - Monk
Deni - Cleric
Caitlin - Druid

We are well geared with URs and up. I have 10 charms of good fortune so we're covered there.

Based on the relics, Its likely monk could shift to ranger and paladin could shift to fighter without too many disruptions. Bard can shift to rogue sort of.

Lets hope the remaining 2 want to play wizards!

I'm sure we can work out the overlaps. I'm the Pally in our play group, but I don't mind playing whatever...I can go Fighter, Barbarian, or maybe even a Wizard.

The one I would like to keep the most is the Monk, Ben really likes to play Monk and would be pretty disappointed if he has to switch. Would Alan, your Monk mind switching to Ranger?

I'll talk to Grayson and see if he wants to try something other than Bard and post later. I'm not sure he would make a good rogue, but might be willing to be a Fighter.

We are also geared in mostly URs and Relics, no legendaries. And have CoGF as well.

I have the other two tickets for the 2:00 run. I have one build for a fighter, barbarian or paladin and this is my friends first run. He was hoping to try a wizard or ranger before GenCon. I have some tokens to build either build for him.

Alan is an amazing slider so I'll ask him to switch to ranger so he can keep dual wield.

As long as no one really expects me to succeed at the rogue boxes I should be able to play that, my tokens should work mostly and I've got some of the UR for the class. He has widseth's right?


Kerwin, let me know what tokens you need. I have a lot for a wizard. I use to field one but they stopped going to gencon. I believe I have many of the key URs except for the staffs.

Grayson said he's flexible too - although I mentioned rogue to him and he said pretty much the same thing as you did, "As long as you don't expect me to actually get the boxes open"...lol. Although I think he probably could succeed sometimes.

He said he could play Barbarian or a Wizard as well, or Rogue. So if you want to play Bard that should work out.

Seems weird but do we need a rogue if we don't think we'll get the boxes?

On normal I would likely succeed, hardcore is the fat stylus. Even starting half way is tricky. Good question though. I'll probably get lucky and catch one but won't really know until I try. We might lose a bit of damage potential by fielding a rogue over another class but I don't think it's worth sweating it.
If its retro and I remember the solution then I'll just pretend I got the clue. Lol.

Later this week I'll switch my tokens over and see how my build shakes out.

Valetutto, my wizard build was never my primary build. Only item that I have that is worth anything on the wizard is the Bracelets of Zephyr. Everything else is rare. I do own 1 Ring of Heroism as well so I was going to let the wizard use it.

Ok I'll make sure I build out my wizard. You can just borrow the entire kit. Bring the bracelets of zephyr though... I forget if I put them on the druid instead of the wizard.

I have spare +1 level stuff so I'll make sure the wizard gets something.

Okay -- Grayson said he feels like smashing things. So how about Grayson for Barbarian, Mark for Bard, and then I'll play Rogue. Very little chance of actually getting the boxes, but I'll try!

Also, I'll be glad to do a party card using the Amorgen's excel file, if you all will post your builds here or send me your copy of the excel file.

Turn's out I'm not half bad at Rogue. Daivd, why don't you play bard.

Might be easier if I build the party card.
