But knowing Incognito. He has already factored that into his planning.

We only have a limited sample size (one year of WYC Grind) but it is true that last year's WYC Grind had a lower survival rate than the GenCon Grind (they were different adventures though).

One relevant factor is that people have to pay money for GenCon Grind events whereas WYC Grind is nominally "free." As a result, WYC Grind can focus a bit more on fun, even if it involves a few extra corpses.... :P

WYC grind last year was a blast. The dragon fight mechanics were well done.

Oh, and I warned these guys that you were reading our builds... :P

I'm fine with Nightmare but I'm not sure some of the other players are equipped well enough. For example, look at Joshua's build, it is fine for Hardcore but probably not Nightmare?

Grind is where builds go to die.

There is nothing wrong with a TPK in grind and there's no way to know where we stand unless we try it.

There's no loot to lose if you die :)

Honestly if we have an Eldrich 2 piece Cleric with dual heal glasses I'd say lets hit nightmare.

I will definitely 100% vote for Nightmare. Let's test our builds and see how we fare against the best Incognito has to offer!

But I will follow what people want.

I'm fine with Nightmare, I'm expecting to die. :)

Actually TrueGrind was $20 for WYC this year, and it is $28 for GenCon, so not much of a difference. That being said, bring it on :)

I'm still collecting the builds for our dungeon run and then I'll copy it for TrueGrind. Perhaps I'll stick to PM or email for that :)

Glad you enjoyed it!

My goal last year was to have an epic dragon fight that was more fun and balanced than the previous Smoak encounters.

I really did randomly determine the color of the dragon and it just happened that the majority of the results ended up with acid breath....

Hey, that is what my scrying ball is for!

Oh, I didn't realize that WYC Grind tickets costed money. That is helpful information to know! B)

Yeah, we will probably continue what we did last GenCon by having a small, in-game bonus to players who submit a physical copy of their builds (please label it though with your event time and character class!).

Yeah, and we were geared up to resist fire. Sigh.:S

I'm contemplating bringing a laptop and printer to make any party card updates we might make.

If you are staying in the hotel, I would think they would have an office space for guests.
