Hmmm...let me think about it bit. It might be nice to try to take advantage of the small scale of the event at WYC.

Star Wars Shmar Wars a billion people are Star Wars fans. But, to be in that rare and select group of people that run a True Dungeon. Now that is something!

Ideas for abilities at WYC Grind: (note I don't know if these are balanced or comparable to past abilities)

AoW:
There seems to be no apparent effect, until such time as the player dies then it acts as a Fallen Star Mushroom.

Special:
Summon a Doppelganger. The Doppelganger has half the starting HP of the player, and absorbs damage directed to the player until the doppelganger is dead. During combat it acts as a x1.5 damage multiplayer to the players slides. Conceptually mirroring the player's slide but at half damage.

Brain storming time

How about

Grants your weapon Drow Blood posion such that any hit with the weapon heals the wielder heals X HP.

Allows Lenses of Fortune to be worn with other treasure finding items

Counts as equipping a 2nd Tooth of Cavadar and or grants the ability to manifest Psychic Powers

immunity or -X damage from physic attacks

Counts as one item for the purpose of a set bonus

May slide on a surprise round before normal combat begins.

Turns the wearer into a dryder granting immunity we webs, +X poison damage, and a vulnerability to bright lights

For the special perhaps allows you play one of the sub-classes associated with the Rod of Seven Parts (assuming the rod classes are only available at gencon).

Should also brain storm for the eldritch runestone (maybe grants infra-vision or can not be backstabbed).

I like it. I suspect we get something a bit more random.

If the third eldritch item bonus were known, having it count as an eldritch item for set purposes would be cool.

Not to harass you guys too much, but I'm trying to finalize my builds for both TrueGrind and the dungeon runs and it would be great to know the answer to this question :)
