TOPIC: WYC Updated Deadline

Technically not related to GenCon - but I wasn't sure where else to put it.

From a recent TD announcement sent to Adventurer's Guild members:

WHO'S YER CON

You should have received a yellow postcard inside your token pre-order package. On it, it informed you about our plans for Who's Yer Con. It asked you to fill out an online form and print out a PDF to mail in if you are interested in attending our events at WYC 2015. It has come to our attention that some AG members may have missed this info, so I am sending it out now via this newsletter. Please go to the link below to read about and possibly sign up for a regular two-hour adventure event.

HURRY! The deadline to mail in the PDF form has already passed, but if you fill out the form by Friday (3/27) 12:00pm (Central) and send us a photo of your mail in sheet, we will allow you to reserve tickets. Please fill out the online form and then send a photo (or scan) of your AG token submission form to me at THIS EMAIL ADDRESS This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.


We will be sending out PayPal invoices for your two-hour tickets purchases this weekend, so please keep an eye out for them.

TRUE GRIND at Who's Yer Con

Once you have paid for your two-hour adventure tickets, you will be given a link that provides more info about available True Grind tickets at WYC. You may play True Grind only once. There are not enough tickets for everyone, so please understand if the event sells out before you can obtain tickets. The schedule for True Grind will be:

Friday APR 17
Noon - 1:30pm
1:30 - 3:00pm
3:00 - 4:30pm
4:30 - 6:00pm

8:00 - 9:30pm
9:30 - 11:00pm

Sunday APR 19
10:30am - Noon
Noon - 1:30pm

I hope you can make it to WYC, but if you cannot, please keep in mind that those AG tokens can be turned in at Gen Con for either a Treasure Coin or an Uncommon Participation Token from any two-hour adventure.

When did this newsletter come out? It seems as if I'm still having an issue with receiving the newsletter.

I'm a bit concerned at this point. I sent my tokens to Kirk B. So he could submit them as a group for a dungeon run and a grind for my son and I. This makes it sound as if I will be out of luck on the grind.

I received it today - although I clipped off some front matter from the letter that makes it clear this was only sent to people who bought 2k worth of tokens or more, I'll fix the original post to clarify that this wasn't a general newsletter. The letter begins:

I believe the tokens let you buy a ticket for the dungeon and the AG badge is essentially getting you a chance to run the Grind. The Grind may be strictly limited to people that initially got the badge and people to which they were sold.

That was my thought as well. I have a badge of course, but not my tokens as I sent those to Kirk so we could sign up as a group.

I did not receive the letter but I was qualified to get it.

True Grind: It will be only available to people who placed at least a $2K pre-order, and it will NOT require you to turn in any AG tokens. We simply do not have enough TG tickets for everyone, so we want to thank those who supported us with pre-orders first. If any TG tickets are available after that, we will make them available to others.

Jeff is that 1 spot in True Grind for those that spent at least 2k or two spots? Just curious how it works.

I didn't get the notice, either, and had a qualifying order. I'd already sent my AG tokens in, but haven't heard anything more.
