TOPIC: WYC groups

My friend and I have decided to come to WYC but I am curious if there are other group openings available. Or what happens if I get tickets and then only the two of us are available for the run?

I'm assuming you have two Adventurer's Guild tokens (or can get some?). If so, then you go here:

www.truedungeon.com/ag/

And register, and then print out the form and mail the tokens in (which must be done by Mar 20th!). Then they will put you into whatever group makes sense based on your answers in the form.

Not to hyjack the thread but on a related topic has anyone heard anything more about the WYC grinds the AG page mentioned?

I believe that once all the Adventurers guild tickets are sold, there will be some tickets for sale on the open market.

I think the number of possible tickets is greater than the number of AG tokens. There are 300 possible WYC tickets and I doubt that we have sold $300,000 worth of tokens so far. (And I doubt that all the tokens will be used for tickets, since I haven't been able to find a buyer for my extra token).


So the short answer to the original poster, I expect all the tickets to be sold one way or another. You will likely have 8 other people in your group.

I believe we are all still waiting for info. The last I heard (and this is from memory, and of course can change) is that TrueGrind won't use AG tokens but will be limited to the actual original purchaser of the $2k+ orders, with priority given to the largest buyers.

The reg form for the runs did mention TrueGrind would be on Fri and Sun though.

Oops, I misunderstood the question, I believe you are correct, although I think slots will be offered to volunteers after the AG member slots have been filled, and then I'm assuming any left will be open to the general public.

Of course as of now there is still time to buy an AG token if somebody wants to guarantee a slot. I can't speak for other sellers but I have already been asked by my buyers to mail the tokens directly to Jeff along with the required form, which I've been happy to do.
