Oh it'll still happen. There are always a few dips#!7$ who just can't be bothered to read. These are the same people who get angry when informed the notifications were placed right in front of their noses.

For the record, I am totally, absolutely, 100% in favor of re-designing the characters before Gen Con 2015.
Have you looked it up in the TDb ?

While we are at it, were there are there any adjustments coming for the prestige classes, or where those deemed fine as they as are?
D&D teaches all the important lessons in life - the low blow, the cheap shot, the back stab, the double cross. - Jerry Marsischky

Let them trap us. We have our swords. - Elric of Melnibone.

You try to get them to play the game, but all they want to do is play the rules. - Ardak Kumerian

I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend - Faramir

I was thinking it might be good to have the new character cards ready before the token design next year.

It might be a good idea to do the re-design before Gen Con Indy 2015. We could maybe try them out with a few True Grind runs -- and then make some tweaks right after Gen Con Indy. This way they would be finalized before the 2016 token design begins.

Thoughts?

I can't wait for 2016, when the party awakens to find they have been level-drained by a band of succubi, and it will take the level-boosting tokens just to get back to level 4!

Here's a whacky wild idea... let the folks with ROSP use the new designs as much as they want instead of the prestiege classes... or a mix... whichever... just a thought? (more than one adventure per year)

They could be your beta testers in that sense. Heck make the GT runs use the new cards as well.

depending on stat/ability changes..that could/would be a coaching/DM nightmare

GT maybe..the best Dms should be taking the rooms and could go with the flow

Any thoughts on increasing the character levels? (Just curious)

That is an interesting idea for the future, but I would say it is still years away.

They should probably stay as is -- at least for a few years until we exhaust our current supply of the character cards.

Please gods, keep it to True Grind if anything. We want to train DMs, blue hands, NPCs, etc., to be consistent and to master their rooms. If they have to deal with new cards, old cards, and prestige cards, even if just for the GT run, it would be a nightmare, as Laz said. For coaches as well!

Agree wholeheartedly. It would be difficult to do the coaching room and have to change out part or an entire party card for a couple new stats IF the new things affected things that get translated to the party card. As there is not a level increase involved, that may not be the case. But I agree, likely a better thing would be to beta test at WYC.
