do you mean the giant 'ballroom' space UNDER lucas oil stadium? one of the MTG GP events was held there a couple years ago. not sure the sqr ft of it, though...also, quite a walk away from everything else going on. but things are happening in crown plaza already, so it may only be a matter of time before gencon takes over lucas oil.

That space is 40k sq ft, I believe. This was brought up at WYC, so the idea is out there. The only drawback is finding it, but I would love to see NPCs strewn along the path with clues for a quest

I would love to see the Astral adventure theme come to reality at GenCon 2015. But, alas, no notice from Jeff.

I suspect if its going to happen it will be in 2016+. We already have legendary weapons and Jeff had mentioned wanting to do relic/legendary armor next year which was one of the major concerns with how you actually go about doing relic only run.

I think the rod of nil tongue should be transmutable to the +3 staff of focus without any additional cost. Otherwise I'm going to trade it to my cat for a used toothpick that fell on the floor.

why should it be? then everyone is going to say my old legendary should be traded for this one...why stop there...it will avalanche down.
because you are not happy with what you made at the time, is not a reason it "should" be traded in

My cat seems to be amassing a collection of dead crickets, would that be more valuable to you than the toothpick?

because you are not happy with what you made at the time, is not a reason it "should" be traded in

I also suspect nil tongue will be a fair bit cheaper to construct then the focus so a straight trade might not be the best idea. On another matter my cat has a dead bee she would be happy to trade your cat for the tooth pick

I understand your point. What it boils down to is not a conclusion that Jeff wants - that only the most absolutely necessary relics should be made because they are likely to be obsoleted a year later. Then you are compelled to make the new item, because we want to be the best we can be, and the old one sits on the (s)crap heap. As for legendaries, even more judiciousness is warranted, as the cost is high, and some of them are also obsolete, or at least so far - totally unnecessary.

With respect to our rod of nil tongue - we made one and then got one in a draw. We have two, so maybe they can be used as knitting needles. A dead bee sounds like a fair trade, except with autumn setting in, we already have a lot of dead bees.

I have several small dead mammals that my daughter's cat have collected. Would that constitute a higher bid?
