Well, Gary, as you can see from my list, I don't have enough in gold & gems to afford such a trade, unless I trade my Garnet for the scroll. I'd end up losing on that deal.

How many of these scrolls do you have?

ah yes - but your list did say you had other things...so I assumed you may have a little gold in your treasure chest.

SO for consideration if you did want to trade your 100gp Garnet, I could trade you the scroll and 3x10gp gems...something like that. You are right the straight up trade is NOT a good deal for you.

I think I have two Flame Arrow Scrolls - but alas I have to hold one for another trade that is currently pending. (I was not kidding Flame Arrow is in demand...)

Sounds good - I will give you first right of refusal or something like that...which means if someone does want the scroll before we settle I will let you in on the deal to match it or ask that we trade first so that I can get on with getting the last 4 tokens I feel I need for INDY.

If I was "so" serious about this I would have snapped up the trade George was making - but I wanted him to get a better deal for the Gauntlets than I would have given him...
