TOPIC: What do the Combo items this year DO?

<br />What do the Combos this year do?<br />1C- Morning Star is it just a morning star with the wheel and classes listed?<br />2C- +1 Orc Horn Short Bow again does it have any special abilities?<br />3C- Scepter of the Stirge I read on a thread that it gave the wielder life back. . . how and how much?<br />+1 Keen Hand Axe I am guessing Crits on 19-20 . . .<br />Orb of Pelor  Is this just a missile weapon usable by all?<br />

<br /><br /><br />Morning Star just looks like a normal d6 weapon with +1 damage. Might be okay for someone who doesn't have access to Red +1 weapons? Yeah, kinda lousy.<br /><br />+1 Orc Horn Shortbow is actually the first +1 Shortbow. Ideal for the Rogue. Other classes can use +1 Longbow. And if you get into Purp realm, you have Mighty Longbows, Flaming Shortbows, and Skulls of Doom. But quite reasonable for starting and intermediate Rogues.<br /><br />Scepter of the Stirge is usable by all and lets you heal a bit. Not bad, especially for things like True Grind. Note that it does lack a "to hit" bonus. But you can still go all batty over it!<br /><br />+1 Keen Hand Axe, is keen. Quite good for a Ranger's off-hand weapon, or so I've heard.<br /><br />Orb of Pelor is usable by all. Pretty good ranged weapon for Wizard/Cleric/Druid, especially after you've already used a Skull of Doom. Also, it only damages evil creatures (nice way to check, like against the charmed monk from last year).

<br /><br />The Orb is pretty good for a Paladin too, since it saves you a 'detect evil' use as well as allowing you a nice (small) beginning attack to soften them up for a +2 Holy Greatsword attack
