next time i go into the post office, im going to look around for the secret door that leads to the treasure vault....<br />perhaps ill find the blue postal dragon in my branch?

I would have bet money it wasn't possible to damage a TD shipment. They're usually taped to hell and back. You'd need a chainsaw to damage most of them.

I should have taken pics of my boxes the last three years. Mine have come like they have been through a war zone. On a positive note...all tokens were accounted for

Mine usually come with so many layers of tape I have a heck of a time getting through it.

Never lost anything in transit to or from us but the boxes have had some major dents and miscellaneous damage to them.

I always imagined the postal employees would get quite pissed each year at token shipping time. God knows I'd be irked at little packages that weighed 50 lbs a pop. I'd chuck them around too. All the more amazing this is the first catastrophic failure I've heard about since Gary. That and the fact they always nest them now means that this box really must've gone through a wringer. 2 layers of cardboard and all that tape to boot.

If you need to blame anyone blame the dragon that sits on his horde of stolen postal orders. I swear that he must have heard about the treasure tokens and that is why the box was smashed :) After all what better place for a modern day dragon to set up his lair than in the basement of some Postal Office where his minions can gather his horde for him.<br /><br />Lady Myke
