TOPIC: Token Guide Update

To All,<br />After spending yet another 5 hours working on the token guide last night, and realizing I had several more such sessions to go before the guide was ready to go out for proof read, I am giving in to the reality I only have 3 days left and it will not be ready.<br /><br />Instead, for True Realm, we will use last year's guide and I will produce a 2009 update supplement with clarifications for specific tokens and updated matricies for weapons and armor.  I will spend the remainder of my time this week to produce that in time for the event.<br /><br />My apologies for being the bottle neck in the process, but I am hopeful this will suffice for True Realm.  The guide will then be available after True Realm, once the Proof Readers have had a crack at it.<br /><br />Again, my apologies to all who have been patiently waiting for the update...<br /><br />Dave<br /><br />

<br /><br />Well, all I have to say to that I don't see why not.  After all, the courts of law love to side on technicalities.  It's the difference between being lawful and being just.<br /><br />But since we're sort of talking less on the Lawful and more on the Chaotic spectrum of court... I cannot speak to that.<br /><br />Anyway, Dave thank you so much for all your hard work, and I know that I for one would rather have it done right than done quickly.

Thanks, Dave.  True Realm is going to be a blast, with or without a full-fledged token guide.  I understand that when the crunch time comes, stuff gets pushed back - I have to face that myself, sometimes, so I know what it's like.  You're only human (or so I've heard), so it still amazes me how much cool stuff you and the True Dungeon crew produce, year after year.<br />

Will be be able to download something before TR?  I'd like to review the new tokens before I DM.<br />

I look at it this way - now the Coaches are off the hook...<br /><br />When players ask - what does this do - we point to a copy of the write up and ask them to read it because we just don't know...<br /><br />WHOO HOO - all good in the kingdomhood!

Not so useful in the dungeon!
