TOPIC: Respectful request for more dungeon specific tokens!

I must admit, I really enjoy the dungeon-only tokens. Not only do they require a bit of luck (or trading skill), they’re neat themed memories that persist longer than the ingredients- “Ah! I remember pulling that Alchemist’s Pouch from that chest!”<br /><br />While the Skull and Rod part 1 are EXTREMELY cool, the UltraUltraRare nature made the lucky few who got em’ truly favored by Pelor.  I’d love to see a few more uniques in a greater distribution!<br />

Ummm. It's ultra rare by design, not necessarily distribution. I mean, look at the ring of iuz. They could just have easily made it purple in coloring and it wouldn't change how many there were.<br /><br />People have speculated how many rods there were but i think they're way off the mark, perhaps by an order of magnitude or so. Someone claimed there were only 4 or something in the treasure boxes. The odds that I would have met up with 3 of the people who pulled them personally is insanely unlikely. I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few dozen in there at least. After all, the most likely thing for a person to do after pulling it is just to pocket it and move on like it were any other token.<br /><br />I have no clue about the skull, but it seemed like everyone had one of those suckers.<br /><br /><br />What it really comes down to though is that we want these two tokens because they're useful. They notta but sweet, sweet creep. One (even assuming you never get another chunk) is a free bonus HP and the other is the best ranged weapon for a good bunch of classes. If we had a dungeon treasure box only token that was "55' Silk Rope", I just don't think there would be such a scramble no matter what color you made it or how rare it was.

If I ever pull one, it's yours. Assuming you'd be willing to swap skull or rod for it.

Make it 55' UR Elvish rope found only in Lothlorien as a gift from the Galadrim.  I would go for that.

I'm not sure I'd trust any fruity elvish rope. Elves tend to be slender people and I think I want a little more strength in any rope I'm forced to swing on.
