TOPIC: Hidden Gem Find

Evening Y'all. I was doing some inventory on what I have and I found a hidden gem and wanted to know if it is still useable. Its a 2008 Hourglass of Imprisonment. I Checked the database and it looks like it can but since coming back to TD earlier this year I haven't seen one around anywhere and am not sure if I should use it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

definitely usable.

i would imagine it's worth more as a collector item though.

It is usable. This is one of a small number of very hard to find URs for collectors. This, the mithral coin of fate, and the fly scroll are likely the three hardest to find tokens that weren’t super-limited (meaning where inly a handful were created like the ring of three wishes.)

Realistic varket value if you decided to sell shouldn’t be less than $500 but could go upwards of $1,000.

If you aren’t looking to sell it, I would wait until the perfect time to use it. Ideally, it should be against an opponent that auto-kills each round and/or is otherwise invincible (lorigorgon/jeffgorgon come to mind.)

Unless you've got a real desire to use it in a Dungeon, as Jeff said it's probably worth more as a collectible to someone. It's probably very rare at this point, I don't see one for sale at Trent's or Kirk's sites.

one thing to consider in using it in dungeon, it just keeps the monster from attacking the party. it doesn't mean the monster can't buff itself or heal itself or etc.

Last and only time I ever saw one used was years at TDC true raid vs the Jeffagorgon.

That token was one of the final, if not the final, Ultra Rare token to finish collecting all of the Ultra Rares.
