Hi Nicholas, and thanks! I think that sounds like Treasure Box Only to me, since that was done at the treasure boxes...hehe.

Note a correction to these two:

Token: Pants of Lightstep (Uncommon)
From: Dancing Among Stones (Normal/Nightmare Completion)

Token: Holly Ring (Uncommon)
From: The Moongate Maze (Normal/Nightmare Completion)

It's too bad the volunteer tokens were available in the treasure boxes.

I'm inclined to agree. With there being now 4 cons to earn them at, there will be an even larger amount of them, and putting them in the Treasure boxes further dilutes their value.

Can you receive the Uncommon Completion Tokens from running Nightmare? I thought the Uncommons were given out for running Normal and the Rare's given out for running Hardcore/Nightmare.

Yeah, Fiddy's right. I guess I never noticed, because I normally put everything in a bag and deal with the tokens when I get home. But after Gen Con I wondered, "which token came from where?"

Which is why I made this list, and also just in case someone else was curious like me!



P. S. Now I have to go back and figure out which token came from which run from 2007 - 2016!

Yup, and good thing too. I consider the uncommon ring to be better, i would have been very sad to not get any.
*there are a lot more options for melee, it is nice to have a range damage ring. Now, is it worth giving up +4 fort to get another +1 damage.

I don't know if it is better necessarily, but I do think it is a less explored design.

As for worth 4 fort save or not, that depends on if you are in grind or not.

Going into GC, my desire was for a ring that gave like +1 damage to ranged attacks, figuring that it wouldn't make ranged ranger so much better but would help any sort of ranged build for other classes have more damage options. Kudos to TD's team for giving me exactly what I was looking for. I certainly care nothing about the mechanical benefits of the rare completion, so, in some ways, was a plus how things played out.
