Version 2016.30 Notes
  • Corrected spelling of Bracelet from Bracelt in error message
  • Split Dwarf Fighter and Elf Wizard from Fighter and Wizard respectively for purposes of determining if a token or ability can be equipped. This was required to support the Wizard's need to equip the new Rod of Seven Parts (Voucher Wizard)
  • Created Rod of Seven Parts (Voucher Wizard) to account for the Charisma stat change that comes with the Wizard Sub-Class of Sorcerer
  • Fixed the damage type indicator for the following scenario: A token is equipped that requires other tokens to be equipped that meet certain requirements for their effect to trigger (e.g. Ring of Brilliance requiring a 2-hand weapon, Eel Skin Gloves requiring metal weapons). Since that requirement is not met, the damage type (sacred, shock, etc.) should not appear, but was appearing.
  • Added average damage to the rare Staff of Focus token
  • Created True Dungeon Character Importer 2016.01

True Dungeon Character Importer Notes:

- I would not try this with OpenOffice as its results may be unpredictable (if it even tries to run)
- Since this contains macros, you may need to adjust your security level in Excel
- You can choose to import one or all of the classes by specifying with an X on the Configuration tab.
- The macro will take in consideration if new slots have been added or removed. Any slots that aren't in common between the files will be marked with "-"
- For slots that do not match, you may see an error message advising you to re-select the token even though the entry is "-". This is because the default for a few of the slots describe the token prerequisite to use the slot (e.g. the extra charms slots activated by the Charm Bracelet). Simply select a valid value for the slot to clear the error message.

Please give your feedback. I'm hoping this will be helpful.

I am trying to use the importer on 2016.29 version of file, have cleared the X on the Barbarian, but am getting a subscript out of range on the barbarian worksheet on the sixth line of the subroutine Import_Data where it copies the range A1:A150 from sheet 'Barbarian' to sheet 'Source'. I can provide the file if it helps you debug.

(I do have 8 other classes with 'X' to import, just not the barbarian, dwarffighter, cleric, nor wizard)

Thanks

I was using an older version (2016.10) and just downloaded the latest version (2016.30) excited to see some character changes and how they would affect the numbers.

Problem I've run into is that no matter what I do and which xls I download (the regular one of the unlocked one) I don't see the extra +4 damage when I equip a 2 handed weapon for the barbarian. Just to make sure I didn't screw anything up while trying to migrate, or input my data, I tried downloading fresh copies and the first thing I do is add a 2-handed weapon for the barbarian. Still don't see the melee damage go up by 4 like I would expect.

I'm using the latest Microsoft O365 version of Excel.

What I'm I doing wrong, or is there a bug?

TIA,

Todd

Version 2016.31 Notes
  • Fixed Barbarian 2-Hand Weapon Bonus which was broken by changes in 2016.30.
  • Fixed an issue with the importer that resulted in Subscript out of range errors.

Not sure why (because it has not done this with any of the xls or xlsx files), but for some reason my website converted spaces to hyphens in the filename of the importer. This caused the Subscript out of range issue. I fixed it now so that it doesn't care what the importer is named.

If I'm reading this right, this is an aesthetic fix, it does not affect the party card?

Thanks for all you do to keep this great tool going.
