Improving TDs ability to sell tokens. 18 years 3 months ago #1

Jeff,
I understand the whole "token" concepts has grown much faster than you ever guessed (kind of like what happened to Peter's little card game). One of the things I hope you keep in mind for True Dungeon Indy 2006 is to have an option for people who are willing to buy many tokens to ensure they get tickets to TD. TD tokens are not worth much without the opportunity to play. Or to phrase that in a positive fashion, being assured of getting a TD ticket will greatly increase people's interest in buying large quantities of tokens.

There are many possiblities from Gold Tickets, Silver Tickets (ticket and Token packages) or just plain putting some tickets aside for "patrons of True Dungeons". I hope you will give strong consideration to some method of making sure volume token purchasers get to play TD.

Amen to that!
And hopefully all tokens bought after SoCal 2005 will count toawrd any Golden Ticket program or whatever for Indy 2006.

its just my opinion, so don't kill me. i think that only 2006 tokens should go towards golden tickets or silver tickets or whatever special runs they have in mind. it just seems silly that last years tokens can be counting towards the special tickets.

either way it goes, i'm more than set. hehe. feed me more tokens.

I plan on speaking with Gen Con about this very subject. I have taken your good suggestions to heart, and I hope to be able to work it out.
