TOPIC: Token Update: Almost Gone -- Condensed Option Now Available

Token Collectors,<br /><br />Well...I did it again...I did not order enough tokens.<br /><br />I ordered the same amount as last year, but demand is actually higher this year -- even without True Realm.  We have a good number of new collectors, so it is good to see that the collector's pool is growing.  <br /><br />I wanted to let everyone know who has already purchased a $1,000 or more in tokens that you can now tell us that you want some of your tokens (in $1,000 increments) sent to you in condensed form.  The previous deadline for this was in Dec. but we are making this available again so we can try to squeeze a few more 10-packs out of the hoard coming April 20th.  The program is detailed below:<br /><br />

<br /><br />Condensed Packs = Some big collectors have asked for this service so we are extending this in order to make getting the Trade and Reserve tokens with less hassle. When you tell us your Ultra Rare choices you may also tell us how much of your order, in increments of $1,000, you would like to receive in condensed format. For every $1,000 you order in this manner you will get:<br /><br />18 Jewel Weed Extract Tokens (healing)<br />18 Faerie Water Tokens (healing)<br /><br />Lore: 120 random tokens in a bag<br />Uncommon: 240 random tokens in a bag <10% are platinum<br />Rare: 120 random tokens in a bag (with 1.2 URs mixed in) <10% are platinum<br /><br />1,800 in GP (rounded up from 1710 GP)<br /><br />6x Dwarven Steel Tokens<br />4x Minotaur Hide Tokens<br />3x Darkwood Plank Tokens<br />4x Alchemist Parchment Tokens<br /><br />

<br /><br />If you have ALREADY told us that you want some of your tokens to come in condensed format, you are fine.  If you have said before that you don't want ANY of your tokens condensed, please take a second to think about it.  Basically, every $1,000 you now decide to get in condensed form allows us to sell an additional $1,000 worth of tokens either online or at Gen Con.  But is it completely cool if you don't want any condensed token packs at all.  We are happy either way.<br /><br />If you are interested in switching some of your tokens over to condensed, please contact Lori immediately.  Thanks much!<br /><br />BTW, next year I am ordering MORE!

We did sort out that condensed packs have the same change for a GT, right? If so, I wouldn't mind taking my 1k in condensed form. It's not much in the scheme of things but 1k is 1k.

I'll bet if you did a 2010B set, with significant differences, you would sell out.  If not this year, then early next year.  Even if you only partially sold out, if you just recouped your investment in the new print run, you'd have the remaining part of the print run ready to sell as pure profit.  <br /><br />Or - how about 2010B be in woodie form - that has a smaller print run requirement, right? 

Most people don't want woodies. The general impression is they suck.

<br /><br />Yep...since the GTs are sorted in the URs you have the same chance at full 10-packs.<br /><br />

<br /><br />Originally, we did this as a service to the big collectors, but after trying today to come up with ideas for solving the token shortfall...this idea popped into my head.  I suppose I should have sugar-coated it a wee bit, but I am not really all that clever.  I completely understand if people want to pass on the idea.  No worries.

Spiffy then. Just convert 1k of Jenny's order to condensed then.

Ahh sadly I only ordered a $250 order so I know im gonna get an UR, but It would be great to get a GT, I might just dance around like the Grampa in the first willy wonka movie!
